Fifty people in one room for a day. These are the rules that keep it worth being in.
RESPECT
Treat everyone in the room — participants, judges, organisers and the cafe's staff — with respect. Disagree about tech all you like; keep it about the work.
NO HARASSMENT
Harassment of any kind isn't tolerated. That includes unwelcome comments about personal characteristics, intimidation, unwanted attention, and photographing someone who has asked you not to. Anyone harassing another participant is removed from the event without a refund.
ORIGINAL WORK
Projects must be started at the event. Existing libraries, frameworks and boilerplate are fine — turning up with the thing already built is not. Plagiarised submissions are disqualified.
JUDGING
Demos are three minutes each and judged live. The judge's decision is final.
REPORTING
If something is wrong, tell an organiser on the day or write to contact@coffeepecode.matchpod.in. Reports are handled quietly and quickly.
